Adolf Hitler and Paul Kagame Comparison: These two men have a lot in common!
Adolf Hitler
Hitler was not popular at school and he made few friends. He was lazy and he rarely excelled at school work
Hitler was definitely hateful and racist
Hitler was singularly ambitious in so far as he felt it was (more or less) his calling to lead the German/ Austrian/ Prussian people.
Hitler had a particular area of focus of his hatred - generally "undesirables" and specifically "Jews" and other non-Aryan "races/ethnicities" Hitler was intelligent and charming. Many leaders/politicians who met Hitler could not bring themselves to see Chancellor Hitler for the monster he was.
Hitler was extremely charming and charismatic, leaders had difficulties understanding how a such charismatic person could commit monstrous crimes against humanity
Hitler wanted racial purity
When Hitler started his political career, he certainly did not want people to know that he was lazy and a poor achiever at school.(Hitler was certainly gifted in some subjects, but he lacked self-control. He was argumentative and bad-tempered, and unable to submit to school discipline....moreover, he was lazy. He reacted with hostility to advice or criticism ) Hitler had a rough childhood. His father was short-tempered, strict and brutal. Hitler’s mom whom he loved died of cancer when Hitler was only 18 years of age.
Without work and without any means to support himself, Hitler, short of money lived in a doss house with tramps. He spent his time painting post cards which he hoped to sell and clearing pathways of snow. It was at this stage in his life - about 1908 - that he developed a hatred of the Jews.He was convinced that it was a Jewish professor that had rejected his artwork; he became convinced that a Jewish doctor had been responsible for his mother’s death; he cleared the snow-bound paths of beautiful town houses in Vienna where rich people lived and he became convinced that only Jews lived in these homes. By 1910, his mind had become warped and his hatred of the Jews - known as anti-Semitism - had become set.Hitler called his five years in Vienna "five years of hardship and misery". In his book called "Mein Kampf", Hitler made it clear that his time in Vienna was entirely the fault of the Jews - "I began to hate them". To escape his misery, Hitler joined the army. The Austrian army rejected him because he was unfit, but later on the German army took him in thanks to World War One. In Summary, Hitler’s crimes against Humanity are: Planning and carrying out genocide, waging unlawful war, planning and arranging for the unlawful killing of his opponents. The killing of the Jews, Gypsy's, mentally ill, etc. and the killing of Ernst Rohm and the SA party members. He probably never actually killed anyone himself, though some think he killed his niece, with whom he was having an affair. |
Paul Kagame
Kagame was not popular at school. He was lazy and he rarely excelled at school work
Kagame is definitely hateful and racist
Kagame is ambitious and thinks he is the only one fit to lead not only Rwanda but also the whole region.
To Kagame, all Hutus/Bantus are undesirables in Rwanda and in neighboring countries. Kagame is intelligent and charming. Many leaders/politicians who meet/do business with Kagame have no idea that they shake hands with the devil every time they shake Kagame’s hand.
Kagame is extremely cunning, crafty and shrewd. He has committed execrable acts while a rebel leader, as leader of Rwanda, he abuses the people he is supposed to lead and protect, then he crosses over into neighboring countries particularly Congo to loot, kill, and rape women. Yet, Kagame is praised by prominent leaders as an exemplary leader
Kagame wants racial purity ( Tutsis )
Kagame’s past is sealed. As much of an orator he is, he never talk about his upbringing. But sources such as Ikaze Iwacu have revealed that Kagame just like Hitler was a poor achiever in school and never went far. Kagame had a rough childhood, he grew up poor as a refugee in Burundi and Uganda.
Kagame, just like Hitler lived a miserable life in Uganda. Kagame blamed his misery on Hutus who had staged a revolution and overthrew the monarchy that he was part of. It was at this stage in life that he developed a hatred of the Hutus. To escape his misery, Kagame joined Museveni’s rebellion movement, the NRA. It has been said that Kagame was unfit, for instance he could not see well. But, thanks to a friend, Museveni agreed to use him to gather intelligence.
Kagame’s crimes are: The shooting down of his predecessor, an act that triggered the genocide of his own tribe, Planning and carrying out a genocide ( Hutu genocide ), waging unlawful war in Congo, planning and arranging for the unlawful killing of his opponents. It is believed that during the guerrilla war, Kagame picked up a machine gun and randomly shot Hutu refugees in what used to be Byumba province. |
