Rwanda : RIB's lies about the causes of death of gospel singer Kizito Mihigo

Is this all you have to tell the world about the investigation on what led to the death of Kizito Mihigo? Is this it?

a) What happened to statement made by the police spokesperson, acting a Psychiatrist when she alluded to depression?

b) Where is the Psychiatrist's review of this case saying that Kizito Mihigo had severe depression? Of course you know we would throw the report into the bin since we know a severely depressed and suicidal patient would never think of escaping ever at all. These are people who can't even groom themselves. In the photo of Kizito Mihigo supposedly taken following his capture, he was well groomed and well dressed with matching garments from head to toe. Please, don't bring up that coached dipression story.

c) The bed sheets, the bed sheets, tell us more. How does one turn bed sheets into a ligature for scuicide by hanging? One has to cut them and make thin thin strings but tough enough to provide the needed tension to do the damage that people who hang themselves dies from. What did he use to cut them?

An entire bedsheet or two combined can't be made into a hangman pulley system. They are too bulky to provide any lethal tension. One bedsheet is out of question because two knots are needed and these would completely take away the entire length of the sheet. Two sheets need three knots, one between the sheets to create more length, one on the so called window frame and another for the neck. Again, it doesn't make any sense. Three knots that can't be firm because of the bulkness of the sheets. Kizito Mihigo would have survived this bed sheet pulley because it would loosen with his weight he would fall safely on the floor.

d) Did you forget that to commit scuicide by hanging, an individual has to swing freely without any impedement whether on the feet body & no firm object pillar to hold onto that is within reach of the hands to abort the exercise? On the window means the body immediately rests on a wall and if it's bedsheets, we are talking of a waste of time on the person attempting to commit scuicide.

e) Metal Window frame? Where on the window frame can anyone fasten a bed sheet to hold 80 to 90 kgs of weight? Where on the window frame? What kind of window frame is that an way? How high can a window frame be to allow 180cm to 190cm body to swing? Liars! Murders!

f) The guards were conveniently far off from Kizito Mihigo's room to hear what he was doing inside ? What were they doing there then? I thought they were guarding him from both escape and self harm? Is it not what all prisoners are guarded against?
Liars! Murderers!

g) "The family has seen". What about they get a copy as part of the death certificate? We have also seen & it's all lies, but no one saw the body. The family is allowed to see lies on a paper but not to clean and dress the remains of their loved ones, what a joke?

h) Why are you mixing Asphyxia with Hypoxia? These are two different medical terms and they don't mean the same thing. I don't know whether the reason might be that such nuanced concepts are not taught at Butare Medical School. Is it the reason? But in the Kinyarwanda version, you clearly state the cause of death was "Kubura umwuka" (ASPHYXIA OR ASPHYXIATION). Let's therefore drop the hypoxia bit.

You can't change this at all because you have already published the document. Bring in your bedsheets and tell me how anyone will be asphyxiated ever at all

i) What causes death in most scuicides by hanging & let's look at the scenario you present. Asphyxiation is simply not possible because it takes a lot of force to close the airway system ( trachea). Most people die of brain hypoxia and this has nothing to do with the airway. The first structures to be affected are Jugular veins and carotid arteries, then brain hypoxia and death within 5 minutes to 10 depending on the tension in the ligature ( bedsheets don't make a ligature).

Jeffrey Epstein, the New York financier, whose autopsy was done transparently, contradicted what was said in prison about his dying by leaning on a bed sheet. At least no one attempted to tell an open lie that the bedsheet was tied on any jail window to allow for swinging.
